Causes of key switch failure
1. Conventional Most key switches are usually sensitive to induction. Therefore, pay more attention to the strength of the squeeze when the keys are turned on. Don't flip an overly large switch. Otherwise, the switch may become stuck. It also has the effect of reducing the switching sensitivity in the later stage.
2. Do not repeat the key switch too frequently, otherwise the internal components of the switch shrapnel will be worn, and the rear will also cause the sensitivity of the switch shrapnel to decrease. Also, every time a key is pressed, the internal shrapnel gets some wear to prevent excessive repetition of the keyswitch. When a certain breaker wear limit is reached, it will cause damage to the switch components.
3. When using the key switch every day, please note that there is no water drop or water vapor on the surface of the key. Otherwise, if water enters the switch, moisture can affect the switch. Performance is degraded, and subsequent stages can also lead to short-circuit leakage. If a human body accidentally touches it, it can cause some dangerous discharges and other hidden dangers.
Key switch failure solution
1. If there is a problem of circuit soldering, you need to carefully check whether the solder joints on the circuit board are soldered, and repair the soldering in time; whether the electronic components are burnt through, replace them in time; or directly replace the problematic circuit board.
2. When there are stains or water enters the key switch, you only need to remove the corresponding device casing and check whether the water entering the key switch is serious. If it is not serious, you can use a desiccant to absorb the water. If it is stains, then Wipe clean with alcohol, and then install it after the alcohol evaporates. Do not cause secondary damage to the device. If the water ingress is serious, you can consider replacing the key switch with the same specifications and functions.
Key switch is on and off by pressing the handle and pressing the internal hardware shrapnel. The process we call the stroke, that is, the distance between the shrapnel and the gun point. The second hand that is pressed is called the lifespan. At present, the lifespan of this switch is 10W times. We often tell you that the key to the life of a key switch is its shrapnel. The material and precision of the shrapnel are one of the important factors affecting the life and also the feel. So is our lifespan judged by the quality of the shrapnel? Obviously not, the material we choose is just a theory, and the actual use is still based on our test results.
Standard method and process of key switch service life test:
First, we fix the key switch on the panel of the machine, and then adjust the weight to set the life times, and then test the continuity and feel of the switch after the life times. Life test standard: The weight of the weight is twice the force of the switch. Press the switch at a frequency of 30-40 times per minute. After testing the mechanical performance, start to test the electrical performance of the switch. If the resistance is higher than 30m ohms after the test, it is judged to be bad, and it is judged to be good anyway; after the life test, it is also necessary to test whether the switch can be turned on and pressed, and whether the hand feel is maintained well. A good key switch manufacturer must undergo a life test for each batch of switches to ensure the stability of the switch.
